I need to say it so I wear it 'I dont do interviews' is a streetwear company that produces wearable statements. Born in 2016 as an Instagram project, 'Ι dont do interviews' quickly evolved into a streetwear brand, its backbone being the black & white taglines and sketches that brought it to existence. Curated by the visual artist Kroutsef, the core of the brand lies in its cryptic, self-reflective and social commentary which turns 'I dont do interviews' into a perfect vehicle for expressing our perspective of the zeitgeist.
Sustainability
Clothing production burdens the environment in different ways so having that in mind, we do our best to keep our process as eco-friendly as possible. Our content is printed on Earth Positive blanks and we try to produce in small quantities to avoid deadstock. On top of that, we use methods, such as limited quantity drops and pre-orders, in order to avoid generating waste. We do not create collections or produce clothing we do not truly believe in. To us, all iddi pieces are essentials that allow you to build a closet representative of your style and mindset.
Why streetwear
‘I dont do interviews’ is well aware of the street clothing’s sociocultural impact throughout the 20th century and now in the digital age. The paradox of our time lies in the fact that even though nowadays, expressing ourselves and communicating with others both online and irl seems to be easier than ever, we somehow get less and less heard let alone understood. The IDDI team tries to create content that can be easily shared, evoke feelings and stir constructive discourse. Moreover, we attempt to carry on the huge streetwear legacy by working on an exclusively ethical basis. Our mission is to deliver concise texts and cryptic insightful graphics that serve as the canvas for lasting clothing items made of sustainable materials.
